Need new tires 17”

I’m running 7” and 9” Euromeisters. Looking at 205/50 and 255/40 sizes.

I drive primarily above 40 degrees and in dry conditions. No track days or auto cross.

Looking at the Conti Extremecontact Sport and Bridgestone S-04 Pole Position. Anyone have any experience with either of these?

Both are good tires

That's an odd f/r stagger and do you really need that big a rear w/ a stock 3 or 3.2

215/45 & 245/40 would be a more appropriate and efficient pairing

I run the continental extremes on my euromeisters - same setup as you, car is a 3.6 powered 83 SC and the tires are fantastic.

I like the Contis. I use them for everyday driving, HPDE, and as my Autocross rain tires (when my Hoosiers are unsafe). Well behaved, predictable, quiet.

I've heard good things about the Conti's as well.

That size selection is perfect for the 7" and 9" Euromeisters, and was OEM fitment on a few 911's. It looked got on my '87:

I'm still running my old NLA Pirelli 235/40 & 275/40 on my 7" and 9" Euromeisters. I have heard good things about the Conti's but don't know if these sizes are even available. I wouldn't want to go any smaller on my Turbo SC.

Thanks for all the responses. I'm running 205s in the front now and feel that 215's may rub.

IN that case, If it were my car, i'd probably go w/ 205/45 and 245/40, much better f/r balance and all the grip you will ever need plus an extra ~10lb-ft of torque for motivation

You would get even better f/r balance w/ 205/50 & 225/45 x17 and ~1/2 as much extra torque
