Are bump stops required with Koni gas shocks? I know they are not required with Bilstein.

Aren't the bump stops inside the Bilstein, where you can't see them? They are a sort of last defense against bending or otherwise damaging something when you hit a curb or dip harder than you usually do, aren't they? With a lowered car, often cut shorter, but usually not deleted. Though if you never hit anything too hard, maybe wouldn't matter one way or another, especially with stiff enough springs.

I’ve understood that with Konis it’s best to have the bump stops. The Koni ones are better than stock rubber ones because they compress in a predictable and progressive manner. Unlike the rubber ones, which do protect the shocks, but the “spring rate” goes to essentially infinity in like 1/8” of compression.
