Green Oil Warning Light in Dash

Hello All!
The Oil Temp/Press Gauge in my 74 911 has 3 warning lights. The top one is Green and stopped working a while back. I removeed the gauge and removed the bulb and wiring holder the bulb was pushed in to. The bulb is good - I tested it and it is the proper # and type. I also used a 12V Test Light to check the bulb socket and when the key is on I see power. But I am either not properly pushing the bulb into the holder correctly or something else is going on. Now I've been putting bulbs into their various sockets since I started working on Porsches in the late 60's and rarely did it wrong.

Has anyone else seen a problem like this? Any suggestions?

Thanks -
Larry

Every time I pull almost any gauge, I am amazed at the wiring designed into it! The
oil gauge light has 4 plugs with the following wires piggybacked :
1 Brown / yellow
1 Brown / yellow
1 brown / Blue
1 Black / Blue stripe with green rings.

Brake warning lamp K-7
From….
F-6 Brake warning switch on MC.
F-9 Hand Brake on
Hazard flasher
Brake light sensor J34 terminal A
Ideally it is off, and only comes on when there is a problem.
Set the hand brake with ignition on to check.
