Ultimate security device (pic)
I dont think I have ever actually posted a pic of my car on here so here she is. The four legged security was an option on the 76.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploads/car2pitbull.JPG
|
ut oh, looks like he's asleep on the job :D
|
That's not the real security option....the real one is the tiger hiding in the bushes!!
Nice looking pair. Bob |
Whats the wheel in the left edge of the picture? Bike? ATV?
|
Its a John Deere Gator. Kind of mix between a ATV and a golfcart. I have about 20 horses so it comes in handy hauling stuff around.
|
thats a good lookn' car. love the tail.....
|
Here's the interior. I'm about 80% done with a RS swap out. Do you guys think the blue recaro is to much? I was thinking if going with 2 evo 2's instead. Or maybe find another recaro SE.

yea to much...go with black...
this is also a seat to look into.... http://www.subesports.com/products/?cartID=2003051911152163.74.219.38&cat=Seating&bra nd=Cobra&prodID=185 |
That's a great picture. What kind of dog do you have?
When I try to take pictures of the porsche and the dogs are outside I usually get a lot of "dog noses in the lens" shots before I can actually get one of the porsche without them in it. |
Go with black seats. Awesome tail...
-BG |
I just picked up a pair of Cobra ImolaII's from Sube Sports in Huntington Beach today. The ImolaII's are great as are the Suzuka's. Check 'em out, they are Kevlar (how much Kevlar, I dont know) and less expensive than the Evo2's. A much nicer seat IMHO. The fabric is similar to whats used on the high-end Sparco seats.
Looks good! Chris |
Sarah, I am probably one of the only porsche owners in the US that owns a pitbull. :)
And no I don't wear a cowboy hat or drive a ford pick-up. |
Here is my security system. I get the best looks when she is in the passenger seat!! http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploads/Dad.jpg
Cheers, James |
Is there room for you and that monster in the porsche? Its got to be a tight fit.
|
4 leg security
you missed my killer security in the pic of the new turbo ?http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...rbo Stella.JPG
|
Don't mess with her, she is taller then the front bumper. Of course its been lowered big time!
|
I went with the double security option. Of course all they want to do is attack and chase each other so the "security" is purely phsycological.

OK. This is not a very good picture....but here is our home/yard/porsche security system team. (I've added a picture of "all star under the coffe table wrestling" too...their eyes are brown...not the freaky green/blue way they look in the pic).

A face only a mother could love.
|
I cannot pass this one up.
Here is my ever-vigilant-bigger-than-you-raw-meat-eating-SCWDP-proud security. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploads/bigblackdog2.jpg |
Nice oil leak :)
|
Not a leak, I just washed it. Nice try though.SmileWavy
|
To original poster: Your car matches your dog...or the other way around. Very cool.
Id post pictures of my Attack Cat, but you guys would probably just laugh. He is not Guards Red btw... |
Terry - That was funny!!
Gary - Your dog is HUGE!!! to keep it on topic...I say black seats too! ;) |

:DGreat pic, Doug.
He's always doing something to look ferocious. Smart not to mess with him, eh? http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploads/merc.jpg |
The killer poodles... Boxers and the Boxster driver
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploads/Jo.Boyssm.jpg |
My vote: Black Seats
My Dog, Kodi.... excellent guard dog unless he knows you. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...Kodi Posed.jpg |
Bell? Why screw around with little popguns like those? Hell, that AK varient has less punch than my dad's 30-30 winchester...and the 9mm or .45 rifles? If the power is that low, why not buy a handgun? Kind of like some carol doda cars, they look mean, but they don't have much power...actually the best security? One that will easily take out any of the dogs shown? 12 gauge...loaded with the round of your choice. If somebody tries to break into my alarmed garage? 9mm is an option, so is .45, so is .357 & .44 magnum. But probably the one I'd go for first? 12 gauge pump...loaded with alternating rounds of double ought & slug...I hear it can be quite effective..

my point was.... being my apartment is elevated with a perfect view of 3 of my garages......should a "security breach" happen we are fully capable to scare the living crap out of any perp......
personally i can shoot a 5" group with my bolt action .22 from 200ft. :D although dogs are EXCELLENT serurity i wouldn't feel right having one live in MY garage:) great dog pics by the way........great danes rockSmileWavy |
I can understand taking down the guy who's coming at you, but killing a man for stealing your car out of your garage? Wouldn't you get thrown in jail for that?
|
Anyway, here's another example of a highwater mark for German engineering:
