Go for it! They are few and far between on this side of the pond. My Deutsche is rusty but I see no mention of LSD

Five days left and already at 765Euro, US$/Euro rate in the tank, maybe no LSD, shipping costs...
I don't know if I would come out ahead of that. What do you think it's worth considering that one would factor in a moderate rebuilt with new syncros at 500$ in parts? is

Rebuilt lsd versions of that tran seem to go for ~$2.5k unrebuilt non lsd versions seem to go for ~$1k when available. Haven't seen one in about a year it was a non lsd owned by a racer that had also used it behind his turbo(no thanks). Maybe Harold could scrounge one up for you?

I have that same tranny in my car. The gears are TALL, but they are good for a narrow car with a big motor. Less smoking of the tires.

Send an E-mail to the seller and ask if he will send it to the US. Most likely he will. The more bidders the higher price.

Ingo,
Ship it to a friend in Germany and then bring it back the next time you airline home. I have a few friends in Berlin there who would hold it for six months if you need someone. Hey, hows the conversion going? Looking at doing it myself later this week. Joe

I will do it this weekend. Hope it's a two day thing. Pull the old one on Sat and throw the new one in on Sun.

Will stay in touch. Are you going to be using the Patrick throttle cable or what?

Ingo,
Yes, but for almost $300! I can do a lot of fabrication for that price! Joe
