1984 vs 1988
Greetings Felliw Porsche Lovers! Anyone know if the interior from a 1988 Model 911 will fit in a 1984 model 911? I am thinking of changing seats, panels etc.

The dashboard vents are different so that may be a bit of a challenge if you are swapping that too.

The seats from the 88 will drop right into the 84. But the 84 has different, smaller M6 hardware. So you'll have to juggle some fasteners to properly fit the seats. The 88 seats are mounted to the 88 rails in the floor with larger M8 hardware and thick "plate" nuts that go under the mounting platforms.
