Couple questions, torsion bars and lift point.
I am wanting to lower the front about an inch or so, basically euro ride height. 79' SC
1. If I need to re-index the torsion bars, should I have the adjuster in the middle of the adjustment? 2. Where is a proper jack point to jack up just the front end? I have the jack pad that goes in the rocker lift point but I just want to raise the front to do the torsion bars. 3. Also, will I be able to re-index the front torsion bars with the jack stands under the front control arm bracket? ![]() ![]()

Are you only lowering the front and not the rear? |

Thank you, I am lowering the rear to match the front but I'm fairly confident on doing it, I have the Porsche tool for adjusting the spring plates and they look centered so I should have enough adjustment.

It's very unlikely you'll be able to get the rears low enough to match the fronts without re-indexing them, unless you're okay running a lot of rake on the car.

These posts show jacking support locations that work well.
