G-body cabin filter question
This may be silly question/suggestion.
I assume there is no cabin filter in g-body cars, I'm wondering if anyone had attempted to make one? Even simple one, that would help keep the dust away from the interior. All my search queries direct to engine air filter, so any opinion, suggestion is welcome before I take on that adventure. |

The intake is in the little black grill above the hood.
Cut a piece of foam. and place it in there. That's all I can think |

Aside from what 2.7 said, maybe a piece of filter material set in behind each outlet on or under the dash.

Airflow in a 911 is already rather restricted - IMO. Adding something to further restrict the airflow is not in the cards for me.

There is just no practical place to put one. Cabin filters are great on a modern car, but the 911 has a really crappy fresh air system as it is. What other car has a fan that ONLY blows air on your feet, or on the windshield? I don't think air blown down on the floor is going to be much cleaner with a filter. And the defrost air blowing from the dash to the windshield is mostly blown over your head.
Only the AC blower can blow on the passengers. And there is still no reasonable way to put a filter in there. Cabin filters on a G body is like wanting ABS, Power Steering, backup cameras, tire pressure monitors, and PSAM or a 7 speed PDK transmission. Not impossible, but not practical.
