75 911s Interior lights.question

So i am reinstalling the interior lights wiring as the original harness is gone. From pictures and youtube videos i see that the loom splits into two so there is a black and a brown wire going to the driver side light but there are two blacks and two browns going to the passenger side light. Why 2 of each connected to the same connectors. Can i just use a T connector?
Thanks Chris Jones

The T's are at the passenger side light.

Double wires go down the passenger A pillar to connect to the dash harness in the cowl.
Then branch to the driver and passenger dome lights at top of A pillar.

Interior lights

Lets try again . A black and a brown wire come up the a pillar .at the top they branch out to the interior lights on both sides of the car . On the drivers side there is one black and one brown wire. On the passenger side there is two brown wires both connected to one female clip. There are also two black wires that are connected to a single female clip.
Why are there double wires going to a single clip.

Power and ground go up the passenger cowl and up the A pillar to the passenger side interior light. The double females connect to the passenger light, one of which (both positive and ground) then run across the top of the windshield to the driver side interior light. The T's you question are those double wire female fittings.

Why built that way?
To parallel the feed.
Both lamp fixtures are supplied with a power and a switched ground that way. The “T” has to happen somewhere. Not going to split the wires in the middle of the loom.

Follow the path: Power up from trunk goes to passenger lamp fixture, power from that fixture then runs to drivers side. Same thing for the switched ground path.

Same as every light fixture or receptacle in your house…. Parallel paths.
