Sportomatic Warning Light
Hi guys, I’m looking for the sportomatic indicator light wire behind the gauges of my 83 US spec 911. I’ve read threads indicating it’s present in the wiring harness though as late as 1980, but wanted to check whether anyone had found it in an 83, and if so, what other wires it might be bundled with. I pulled my gauges and don’t see anything unconnected, but do have it present on the chassis side of the 14 pin engine connector.
I don’t have a sportomatic, but do hope to use the wire as a carrier for a different gauge. Thanks for your help! |

Green wire in with the green/red, green/black, blue etc wires that run to the oil press gauge.
Should be just hanging around where those wires come out of the through body harness branch with those wires.
