rear sway bar bushing help

i do not know which sway bar bushing to purchase for my 1975 911S targa. Itt is an early targa
i bought 4-91134379203 but they are way too big, have not clue why I bought them as the pet lists 2 types
91133379302
91133379302

the originals look like 91133379302 but they both say 18mm which i have
any clue as to which ones to purchase?

Your best bet is going to be to measure the bar with a caliper, and then order by size rather than number.

Yep. Somehow the sway bar bushings have been mislabeled and are frequently the wrong size.

For example, the correct part number for a SC bushing is too small and will bind. The 930 pn is correct for the SC.

Buy a few and return what doesn't fit?

check the bar mounts, failure fairly common

"While you are in there", carefully check the bar mounting brackets attachment to the chassis. My dad's 74 was driven very conservatively, yet at some point one of the mounts failed and his shop just removed the bar.
When i inherited the car, i installed the Wevo mounts, which required the bigger, later style bushings and attachment straps.

good luck,
chris

FWIW, my car has Weltmeister sway bars front and rear. The bushings were missing when I got the car. I removed the end links and brought them to a local machine shop who turned me new ones out of dense polymer material. Might have been Delrin but he wasnt sure what was in his junk drawer. Was $40 with a beer discount and conversation about cars. Might save you a bunch of ordering and waiting. Guy spun them on the lathe in under an hour.
