Tony, I just couldn't help it
Tony-
Thank you for all of you contributions to this forum regarding CIS. We determined my 090 WUR was out of spec so I removed it and prepared to package it to send to you prior to your busy April. ![]() But, with the heart of a CIS system in my hands, I just could help but to peer inside. ![]() Having read and re-read as much as I could about CIS I removed everything off the threaded post, placed the nut back on and drifted post out so that it was flush with the external surface. Then through several iterations pushed the post back in until I got control pressures within spec. Is there an alignment target for the heating elements as they stack on to the post? ![]() |

You are fine........
Assemble back everything and measure your control fuel pressures (CCP & WCP). Test drive the car and find out the result of your work.
BTW, I have less than 2 weeks before the Engine Rebuilding Workshop starts in April 18 and catch up with my other commitments. So far I have only a couple more WUR’s to calibrate but decided to do more and build up my inventory. ![]() Keep us posted. Tony |
