Looking for ideas and/or pictures of drilled out parts

Now that I recently picked up a shiny new (used) drill press, I'm ready to start putting holes in every little thing I can find. I love the old 917 drilled ignition key, drilled deck-lid hinges etc. Any experience or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Check out the cover of Waynes Engine rebuild book. The engine mount cross bar. Se if you can find somthing to drill holes that big.

Engine mount bar. Note that the stock bar is not only drilled, but also reinforced with an additional lip.

All the holes have been made with electric hand tools. No drill press.

Drilled aluminum plate replaces glove compartment lid. Flanges were made with a simple hand tool.
