Thanks Bill but the B&B is not in the budget.

FWIW, I have the CSF single-pass cooler on my '87 and I love it. Very efficient, and packages well. Shoot me a PM if you want see up close (I am near you in BH).

I have a used front mounted oil cooler that measures 5-1/2" X 2-1/4" X 24" made in Japan by Calsonic for the Nissan Skyline, a Mazda RX7 among other models. Comes with two braided stainless steel covered oil lines. All for under $400.00

If interested PM me with your email address for details.

TIA

Henry

Thanks that looks like a serious contender.

Thanks for the offer Lyle. What are you using for a front bumper? Why a single pass?

Make sure you use rubber isolation mounts. Coolers don't like vibration.

A 964 nose allows more air flow space behind the oil cooler than on an IROC nose.
Minimum AN fitting size the on cooler inlet/outlet lines is -20
Don't fall for the AN -12 hose kits being sold.

I have a Ruf-style bumper/valance. This cooler fits there well. I plumbed it in-line with my front fender-well cooler w/fan (I have an '87), so this provides extra capacity for an already pretty good system. When I added a turbo, I noted higher temps and wanted them to return to "stock" levels. With this additional cooler, I achieved that in spades.

Great vertical orientation position chosen for your Oil Cooler, like the flow thru aspect for the airflow.

Lots of people use the Mazda RX7 oil cooler and weld on AN fittings. -12, -16, -20. Omit or run the internal thermostat. Do a few searches here. I've run one on my 930 for oh, almost 30 years now.

My new oil cooler. Made an adapter because I didn't think that the threaded engagement in the aluminum cooler was adequate. They did install helicoil so most good enough

In this position it will sit directly under the factory SC bumper. Obviously the valance will need to be extensively modified

For some reason my fusion 360 file is not being shown completely. Regardless this flat piece of steel will be folded in to a box to frame my oil cooler. Or at least that is the plan in my head. We shall see if my plan works out
