Custom wheels from AWC

G`day gents, thought I`d like to share some nice (ugly?) stuff with you.
A while ago I founds out about this company that makes custom design wheels. Since then - I started to draw.
I wanted something to be like Fuchs but modern. Obviously that`s nothing new. Basically all modern Porsche wheels are modern iteration of famous Fuchs.
My task was even harder, I love Magnus`s Outlaws 001. But I didn`t want just copy it. So I came up with something similar yet a bit different. Like very similar.
At some stage I wanted a new set of wheels so hard I couldn't not to order one.
Payed the deposit and contacted Dan from Augment Wheels Company (AWC).
Got promised one time frames, but actually took a bit longer. Well, twice longer tbh but it totally worth it.
The sizes I had were: 10x18 ET -11 and 12x18 ET -23.
The rears kept the same but the fronts became 9.5 with ET -5. So It would sit inside the wheel arch the same but less poke.
Put the fronts on the car cos could source only front tyres I wanted. For the rears I have to wait.

I promise I`ll take proper shots when I`ll get the rear tyres.

Real nice.

Comparable in weight to other wheels?

Some of the other wheels like the "AWC 917" certainly appeal to me.

Cheers gents
about the weights. I managed to to weigh front ones without tyres for some reason. But I weigh them with tyres.
So, rear AWC NO TYRES (12x18) are 13.4kg (29.5lbs) each
Front 9.5x18 WITH tyres 22.4kg (49.4lbs).Work wheels I had before with street tyres are 21.2kg (46.7 lbs). Just found on Internet that 225/40/18 A052 is 10.3kg (22.7lbs) which makes the rim 12.1kg (26.7lbs)
And unfortunately I can`t find just rims weights anywhere. I`d say they are about the same weight.

Thank you for looking that up, larger wheel sizes than would fit on my car but gives me a gauge.

Very nice !!! I am currently running a 17" set of fifteen52 Outlaw wheels, which I love.

The wait was about 20 weeks in 2018. Now they are NLA. Glad to see someone making a similar wheel. Congratulations.
