None exists. Not a bad idea to add one.

I’ve been wanting to add an inertia switch to mine. From an old Ford Explorer or the like, it would turn off fuel pump in an accident where a guy couldn’t get out (fuel pump runs with key in ON position on 74).

Odd that Porsche thought it unnecessary for one. bean counters?
when I first bought my car over 10 years ago I had various problems with the key switch - in fact one time it actually started the car without the key in at all! - I replaced it right away of course
Wondering now if the current running through the key switch degrades the contacts when wired like that - because currently I am having intermittent cut out while running

In 1974 they continued to use the same wiring configuration used on carbureted cars. The reason is unimportant, only that all car makes/models have certain deficiencies that can be improved upon.

76 was the year they added the FP relay and safety switch.

Relays have been known to be added after 50 some odd years.

There are several electrical updates that should be considered for early 911's.
Here are a few.

1. Relays for the headlights (Unless you like paying stupid money for a new switch)
2. Fuel pump relay. (Your ignition switch will thank you.)
3. Fuse the 12v + wiring for the gauges. ( Unless you you like the cool looking smoke coming out of your dash.)
4. The brake lights circuit doesn't have a fuse so maybe this was a safety issue? Although having it unfused doesn't save you when the switch is broken so I can't really follow that logic.

I'm sure there are others but those come to mind.
