dyeing the seats
![]() It really still has the purple tinge to it I am hitting it with a strong mix of dye to see if that works fingers crossed any help from anyone that has done this would be great

Try SEM vinyl leather carpet spray dye. If your going black use the Landau black mix. Body paint shops can also mix any color you need if they are set up for it. I love the stuff. Shadow blue is very close to the marine blue color. Goodluck. Thanks Rob.

Of most recent, & I've done some dyeing myself (no outsourcing)on my 914 seats, Ferrari 308 door cards & 944 rear seats, I've used SEM way back in past until coming across more durable "dyes" versus "paint" or top coatings. Classic dye products were pretty decent (but highly dependent on prep) for durability. So.....I came across this company that did comparative tests against some brands that I've used before & am now going with Prycryl dye & cross link from Viper Products. Videos seem convincing, but we'll find out when I do some pieces from the rear 1/4 of the 911 in near future with this stuff.

Well this new dye certainly stains my hands better hope it works better on the seat I want to try this before I go to paint
