Missing running at 4K

Hello, pretty new 911SC owner here and I am having a little problem with my car. When I am cruising it around at about 4K RPM it seems to miss or something. I checked the timing it was ok. I replaced the spark plugs, rotor, cap, and wires 2 weeks ago, so I am pretty sure that those are all good. Any suggestions on what is wrong and what I should do?

Thanks
Ryan

BTW It is a 1980, if that matters

well it happens with a load on it or with out a load. Could it be that my timing is to far advanced. The timing light that i used was not the greatest in the world. It was my dads and it is easily 25 years old.
