Finding my 911s 3.2 original owner US - Any tips?

G'day Everyone,

I was hoping you might be able to help me out.

I have an almost complete history for my 911, but am missing contact with the original owner and am hoping someone might be able to help me or tell me where to look.

I know my car was delivered new on January the 9th 1986 to Thousand Oaks Porsche in California.

The original owner took delivery and had it serviced there until July 1991.

The car and I live in Australia, and I am hoping you guys in the US might be able to point in the the right direction as to how I might be able to work out who owned the car?

- I can't see anything on the carfax
- I spoke to the dealership and they have no records
- I understand the PCNA have the factory details, but I don't think that has the original owners name?

Is there anywhere else I can look?

California Department of Motor Vehicles has the info. Whether you can get it from them is another matter altogether.

I agree with dannobee. You used to be able to request the history of a car and they would provide it without a full address. But you only would get a name and city if I recall correctly.
