Need help identifying strange exhaust oil tubes

Hello I could use some help with this. I knew my old exhaust was in bad shape but didn't realize I had some strange other issues that need addressing. After jacking up the rear of my 1976 911 with its 2.7 engine, I noticed strange "pinched off" oil tubes coming from the cylinders, and they are leaking from the ends. What in the world are these for? And how can I remove them? Please reference attached photos. I've searched other cars online underside photos and can't find a single other one that had these? Obviously also need to address other oil leaks. Thanks!

Air injection from 76 through SC
There is supposed to be an air pump on top left side of motor.
You’re exhaust replaced the thermal reactors but it still chokes the engine
The replacing bolt is a 12 mm fine thread. The tubes just unbolt

The car came with a smog pump, but it wasn't connected. Is that the air pump you mentioned? So I can just remove those tubes and just put a 12mm fine thread bolt in there place? They seem to be leaking oil from them. Thanks so much for your help!!

Yes, those tubes have been cut, they need to be removed and the holes plugged, use locktite.

I bet the car sounds like crap and blows oil, it will be so much better when you plug those ports.

Through the SC years? Not just '79 only?

It was 1978 and 1979 in the US. From 1980-on the SC got an O2 sensor and did away with the air pump.

But I think Euro SCs had the air pump through 1983.

Hole is 10x1.0, but 1/8th inch hex head brass pipe plugs fit perfectly. Looks like leaks between heads and cylinders, which could be loose head nuts or pulled head studs, which is common with a 2.7.

Yeah I worry about the head studs too. Will start saving my money for a full rebuild down the road, but I hope I can enjoy it for awhile before then! Thanks for the help everyone I am grateful to learn more about these cars!

One more quick question, will oil come pouring out when I remove those? Should I drain the oil first?

You can do a lot of damage with loose heads.

No oil should come out. No need to drain. Just get the plugs installed and clean up the oil where the heads are, then check it after you drive it and see if the oil at the head/cylinder returns. If there is no more oil then you fixed the problem and should drive the dog snot out of it.
