1977 911S Front Parking Lights / Markers Don't Work

Hi to all. New to posting, but have been a long time follower and spent many small fortunes on the shopping side!

I have searched and read nearly 40 strings on Pelican & RL and none of them have helped solve this one...

1977 911S - no known major changes to wiring, but car is new to me. This issue has been present since acquisition. Only my front parking lights/markers DO NOT work....

Oddly, the front turn signals work, (same housing, but different wire - so ground is good) front lights, front fogs, and ALL rear lights & signals work as expected...
I have 12V at Fuses 2 & 3 at both ends of the fuse, changed fuses to be safe, this is at the Gray/Black and Gray/Red wires...

When You travel down the harness, to the fixture, I have no voltage in the front main marker/turn system wire on either side. (Including tested to the battery ground - not just local ground) Again, the turn signal does work and voltage jumps and causes blinking as it should, also meaning ground is good, but no voltage to marker light. (so hence, no voltage on the jumper to the side marker lights either) The crazy thing is that it is both sides - and only the marker signals. I have tried the headlight switch in both park and headlights - neither illuminates the markers.

I thought I would see if anyone has ideas, as it seems odd that it is so isolated and both sides which are different circuits? Any help is appreciated! Thx

Check the jumpers from the signal lamp housing to running lamp housing is good?

Thanks for the idea. At this point, I have no voltage at the first point to all of the front markers. (But ironically do have power to first point on turn signals) I am testing at the incoming cables to the marker/turn housing, before it needs to be jumpered. The side markers get jumpered from the mains, and are daughters to the main marker/turns. Unless I am all crossed up! And timmy2 - as I previously stated, I have read a lot of threads that you solved today!!

Connectors for the running lamps (and turn signals) are in the headlight buckets.

3 wires in headlight bucket. Signals, running and ground. They all run to the signals housing then 2 jumper over to running lamp housing

Leaving the outcome - in case others need a place to start. Previous owner hooked the marker light live wire to the euro turn light in the headlight unit. The turn was hooked up correctly. I should have realized the issue, when the markers should have been on, the headlights had a dim light. Solution was to create a jumper for the euro turn signals, from the actual turn circuit and get everything rewired like it should have been.

timmy2 - thx for the correction. Made all the difference.

Glad you found it. Maybe edit your post about the solution to the running lamp wiring was spliced and now running lights work. (Yours says turn signals)
