Lufty,Lufty,Lufty
Has anyone noticed that there have been NO posts on Pelican or Rennlist about Lufty? None! Seems a little "funky".
No "Hey I got my tickets" No "My car got accepted" No "Who's going" " Where are you staying" You know, all the stuff that was posted on all the previous shows. Slightly confusing. Any conspiracy theorists out there? |
Last week, people got emails letting them know if their car was accepted or not. (Mine wasn't.) So I saved $100 and bought just a spectator ticket.
|
My wife wants to join me. Bought airfare. But I only have one ticket. Anyone have a spectator ticket they aren’t using?
|
I went to my first luft last year at Indy. $150 to park my car for an afternoon, with the option to buy swag seemed like a money grab. Indianapolis ain't LA dude...

I took my son in the 964 Targa to Luft 6 at the lumberyard and had a great time! My car didn’t get into Luft 7 at the Studios but I still went and again it was a great show and perfect venue for the aircooled cars. Fortunately my car was accepted for Luft 8 so once again I’ll be going and this time taking my daughter which is a total car nut making it even more special.

Because I don't have the energy to deal with such an elitist event.
See you at the track!!!! With tire rubbing, oil leaks and the smell of sweat from my nomex suit |
waste of $
This whole thing has totally gotten out if hand. Too commercialized, ALL ABOUT THE $

Just a hard working kid and a dad who turns the wrenches. @daneidelson Stoked to announce that I’m heading to Spain for this in two weeks. Such an honor to be selected. Many thanks to the @race.service crew for everything! and to @mattrprt - you know… @allroadmanagement Breaking: Richard Mille Young Talent Academy 14 finalist drivers revealed ‼️ Richard Mille and All Road Management are proud to present the shortlist of the successful 14 drivers selected to take part in the RMYTA shoot-out.
