Lufty,Lufty,Lufty

Has anyone noticed that there have been NO posts on Pelican or Rennlist about Lufty? None! Seems a little "funky".
No "Hey I got my tickets"
No "My car got accepted"
No "Who's going"
" Where are you staying"
You know, all the stuff that was posted on all the previous shows.
Slightly confusing.
Any conspiracy theorists out there?

Last week, people got emails letting them know if their car was accepted or not. (Mine wasn't.) So I saved $100 and bought just a spectator ticket.

My wife wants to join me. Bought airfare. But I only have one ticket. Anyone have a spectator ticket they aren’t using?

I went to my first luft last year at Indy. $150 to park my car for an afternoon, with the option to buy swag seemed like a money grab. Indianapolis ain't LA dude...

I took my son in the 964 Targa to Luft 6 at the lumberyard and had a great time! My car didn’t get into Luft 7 at the Studios but I still went and again it was a great show and perfect venue for the aircooled cars. Fortunately my car was accepted for Luft 8 so once again I’ll be going and this time taking my daughter which is a total car nut making it even more special.

Let's all congratulate Howie Idelson (Luft founder) and his son Dane. An incredible accomplishment. Dane may be a future F1 star. This is from Howie's FB page:

I’m beaming with pride. This kind of stuff doesn’t happen to people like us often. Just a hard working kid and a dad who turns the wrenches.
@daneidelson Stoked to announce that I’m heading to Spain for this in two weeks. Such an honor to be selected. Many thanks to the @race.service crew for everything! and to @mattrprt - you know…
@allroadmanagement Breaking: Richard Mille Young Talent Academy 14 finalist drivers revealed ‼️
Richard Mille and All Road Management are proud to present the shortlist of the successful 14 drivers selected to take part in the RMYTA shoot-out.
The names are: Cristian Bertuca, Karol Pasiewicz, Rafael Modenese, Evan Giltaire, Arthur Poulain, Luka Sammalisto, Gabriel Gomez, Matheus Ferreira, Kris Haanen, Dane Idelson, Tim Gerhards, Schu Dozono, Ella Stevens and Keanu Al Azhari.
Now in its 5th edition, more than 60 drivers participated to this year’s RMYTA first phase. They are coming from 11 countries with 3 continents represented: Europe, North and South America and Asia. Moreover, Ella Stevens will be a standout for the promotion of women in motorsport.
The shoot-out will take place on October 10-11 at the Navarra Circuit (Spain) and several criteria such as the physical & mental aptitude, the behavior, the media skills and the ability to adapt to the FIA F4 car will be taken in account.
The winner will be awarded with a full season in the 2023 FIA Spanish Formula 4 Championship with MP Motorsport.
Good luck everyone! 🤞🏻

And Congratulations to the whole Idelson family!
