964 Valve adjustment

I was curious what is a reasonable charge for a valve adjustment for a 964 engine with modified intake? I’m being told by my local shop this is a 6hr process……. I’m not complaining, just asking the knowledgeable folks on the forum if this seems reasonable. Thanks in advance.

Idk what the book time is but for just the valve adjustment it usually takes me or any of the guys I work with less than 4 hours.

That one appears to lack a lot of the fru fru that has to be removed and reinstalled so 2.5-3 hours.

2 days. 1st day, set intake valves, put back together and take out for test run and warm up. Get home, dump oil, put on stands. 2nd day, exhaust valves and refill oil. This is a Hobby, not my livelihood.

Gaskets/seals/Mobile One Oil/filter = about $200, prices may be higher with biden
