Custom Triple and Quad Gauges
Well, it's almost time to build another batch of triple and quad gauges. I started building the last batch in May/Jun and I built about 15 gauges. I'm probably not going to take that many orders for this next round so if you're interested in one, let me know early. I will start this building this batch in January but I need to get all the orders in before Thanksgiving. The next batch will probably be around May/Jun.
If you're interested in a quad or triple gauge please fill out the form and I'll get back to you with an estimate and any questions. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeKfN5oK1IoIvy0WaOXr-1M5Lc2QwozaCwlsiEG32Vy50CN7A/viewform?usp=sf_link |
Here are a few of the gauges from the last batch

You never cease to amaze me with your talents.
I was looking at the picture with the AFR Gage and wonder if the controller is inside the gage and a Lamda plugs into gage? I’m enjoying my gage set you did for me. |
Very Nice,
For some reason we did not realize you produced these. Will make them available to all our clients. Cheers |
John,
I'm in for a quad gauge for my 914 6 conversion. I'll reach out. |
Is that fuel pressure in the first one with the AFR?
Do we need to supply a donor gauge? Adding fuel pressure and AFR would allow me to ditch the digital gauge and put the clock back. |

John recently redid my gauges and they are absolutely flawless. Cannot say enough great things about your work, John!!
Thanks for being an awesome community supporter with your amazing talents! |
Another happy customer here. Mine look great. Thanks, John!
|
John, I sent a form, and am hoping to add volt meter and arm to fuel and oil level gauge. Would I send you the gauge?

All the triple and quad gauges in the picture are made to replace the oil temp/pressure gauge. |
That makes sense, is it reasonable to add AFR to fuel and oil level small gauge? That is my end game, would maybe add voltage to clock later 😁
I am envious of your ability to do this! |
Sorry I haven't replied to everyone that submitted a form. I will do that this week.
|
Still a few spots open for this next batch.
|
Your talents might be overkill for what I’m looking for, but nothing ventured, nothing gained, so here goes: would you make a clock replacement gauge with a volt meter and ammeter in it?
(Since not a triple or quad, figured I’d ask before filling out your form.) And yeah, nice work…! |

Last bump before I finalize the list for this next batch.
|
John, let me know when you are ready to go to work, I only need to pull my clock out, have a plug inboound to cover it. I can get this boxed up next week and headed your way.
What is the typical turn around? ALSO - do you have a recommended WBO2 set up that will work with the analog gauge? Sal has offered some insight as well, but that is on my post-Christmas shopping list. Happy Thanksgiving! |

My son is doing some of the machine work this week while he's home for Thanksgiving so I may be able to build your gauge in the next few weeks. I'll send you an email to work out the details. They take a couple of weeks start to finish. The AFR gauge will work with almost any of the wideband controllers as long as they have a 0-5V analog output. The most popular ones are AEM, Innovate, and PLX but there are others. I'll just need to know which one you select so I can install the correct firmware on your gauge. |
Thanks John, for the quality of work and willingness to herd people like me in the right direction.
Happy Thanksgiving. Will choose a path over the next couple of days and email you. Will pull my clock on Sunday and box everything up to ship in the next week. BTW - I really miss my 70E. Less things to address. |
John, would you be able to make an AFR gauge to replace the clock? I'm running an AEM wideband currently.
Sorry - initially tried the form but was only for triple/quad gauges! |

http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1669350664.jpg I can also do them in a triple gauge to replace the clock. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1669350618.jpg Lastly, I've been working on a 270-degree AFR gauge for a while and keep changing my design. A couple of Pelicans have the last version of these in there cars and so far they seem to be working well. I have a new revision that I've been testing and hope to finalize the design soon. The only issue is that I have not been able to find a way to make an early (pre-74) style needle for these. I can make the later style by shortening a speedo needle like the one in the picture. I'm hoping to make a few of these for sale after the holidays. This is an old picture, but gives you an idea how it looks The new version is either 8-18 or 10-20. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1669352285.jpg |
John, I can help you with some core gauges.
I like that clock replacement for the AFR gauge. I might change up my order. |
I have a couple more spots available in this next batch. I'll be building them after Christmas, but need to confirm any orders next week.
|
John I am interested in the clock replacement 270 degree . How much?
|
If that is to far in the future for a reliable 270 AFR I would like to at least order the dual volt AFR to replace my clock.
Thanks John |
