Custom Triple and Quad Gauges

Well, it's almost time to build another batch of triple and quad gauges. I started building the last batch in May/Jun and I built about 15 gauges. I'm probably not going to take that many orders for this next round so if you're interested in one, let me know early. I will start this building this batch in January but I need to get all the orders in before Thanksgiving. The next batch will probably be around May/Jun.

If you're interested in a quad or triple gauge please fill out the form and I'll get back to you with an estimate and any questions.

You never cease to amaze me with your talents.

I was looking at the picture with the AFR Gage and wonder if the controller is inside the gage and a Lamda plugs into gage?

I’m enjoying my gage set you did for me.

Very Nice,

For some reason we did not realize you produced these. Will make them available to all our clients.

Cheers

John,

I'm in for a quad gauge for my 914 6 conversion. I'll reach out.

Is that fuel pressure in the first one with the AFR?
Do we need to supply a donor gauge?
Adding fuel pressure and AFR would allow me to ditch the digital gauge and put the clock back.

I think that is Oil or Oel Pressure in Atmospheres or Bar. Each whole increment is 14.7psig. They do look great, don’t they?

Hey Keith, No, the wideband controller is not built into the gauge. These gauges accept a 0-5V analog signal from the wideband controller. Most of the controllers (Innovate, AEM, PLX, 14Point7, etc) provide this type of signal.

Thanks Jeff... I build these in batches just a few times a year, but let me know because I often have enough parts lying around that I can put one together.

Hey Duane... Do me a favor and fill out the google form if you're interested in one. It gets crazy trying to keep track of things and the forms make it a little easier. Cheers

Yeah, that's oil pressure on that gauge but I can't see any reason we couldn't build one for fuel pressure. I control the AFR gauges using a little microcontroller in the gauge so if we can't find a VDO fuel pressure gauge that will work I can take the signal from just about any sender and adapt it to the gauge movement (If that makes any sense)

As soon as I hit submit on that last message I remembered that I built this small combo gauge with fuel pressure for another Pelican's early race car. I forgot what fuel pressure sender we used (I can go back to my notes) but I already have the circuit to control it.

John, I sent a form, and am hoping to add volt meter and arm to fuel and oil level gauge. Would I send you the gauge?

I need to go through the form submissions and get back to everyone. I'm hoping to do that tomorrow. Unfortunately, it's not possible to squeeze 4 gauges into the small fuel/oil level gauges. I can add one to make a small triple gauge but that's it. Even fitting 3 was a challenge.

All the triple and quad gauges in the picture are made to replace the oil temp/pressure gauge.

That makes sense, is it reasonable to add AFR to fuel and oil level small gauge? That is my end game, would maybe add voltage to clock later 😁

I am envious of your ability to do this!

Your talents might be overkill for what I’m looking for, but nothing ventured, nothing gained, so here goes: would you make a clock replacement gauge with a volt meter and ammeter in it?

(Since not a triple or quad, figured I’d ask before filling out your form.)

And yeah, nice work…!

Last bump before I finalize the list for this next batch.

John, let me know when you are ready to go to work, I only need to pull my clock out, have a plug inboound to cover it. I can get this boxed up next week and headed your way.

What is the typical turn around?

ALSO - do you have a recommended WBO2 set up that will work with the analog gauge? Sal has offered some insight as well, but that is on my post-Christmas shopping list.

Happy Thanksgiving!
