eBay vendor Caveat Emptor

Hi Guys,
Wanted to let you know about an eBay vendor that you should be cautious about in hopes that you can avoid the unpleasant experience I went through.

Quick run down. I purchased a new pair of mirrors advertised as being for a 964 as well as other Porsche models. The mirrors I recieved are not for a 964 or any other Porsche. They are a generic mirror that have no heater coils or mounting mechanism. I guess your supposed to glue them on top your old mirrors?🙄

dr911ca sold the mirrors to me for $70.28 each knowing that real deal from Porsche costs more and turned around and ordered these generic ones from ******** and paid them $13.53 each and had them drop shipped. I don't mind someone making some money if they were what they were advertised to be but when they advertise something misleading and then mark it up 500% then I've got a problem.
I requested to return them but was denied even though the request was before the cutoff date. The denial came back after the return date so eBay won't back me up.
As of today ******** will still accept the return of the mirrors but the dr911ca will not provide me the contact details they used with ******** so I can return them.

In closing I'm not that upset. It's only $154 but if I can help you guys avoid an unpleasant experience then great.

Yep, don’t do business with him. Ordered some bronze pedal bushings off eBay from dr911ca 6 months ago and they never shipped. He generated a tracking number which started eBay’s return clock but the item never shipped.

Along those lines, don't deal with Mark Jung @ Mfiwerks either. He will take misleading photos and sell you damaged/repaired things without disclosing any of that information, then ghost.

Same thing happened to me. He listed 2 wheel bearings as FAG, and then drop shipped me GMB bearings from ********, which are half the price. I returned them and he's claiming that they're damaged, so I've only received a 50% refund.

Reached out to him multiple times and silence. He does not do business in good faith and should not be trusted.

This guy is a long-time scammer and there are numerous threads on him. I believe he's been in trouble with the law from his nefarious activities.

Amazing, as of 11/29/22 he has a 99.9% satisfaction rating with seemingly glowing feedback despite the questionable business dealings he has had.

He pays people to remove the negative he did it to my buddy who bought a part from him. Advertised it as "Genuine Porsche" and what he received was a drop ship order from Rock Auto with some garbage Chinese part. If everyone would buy an item from him and leave him negative he would be out of business in just a few weeks.

I guess I got lucky? I purchased a alternator fan air guide and paid 1/2 of msrp and it it was a new genuine Porsche part. He did raise the price right after I purchased it.
