Swap Meet at Parts Heaven Sunday, who else will be there?
It's this Sunday June 1. I'll have my new gen 2 bronze suspension bearings, finned oil lines with purge valve and other products on display.
I'll be the guy wearing the Elephant Tee shirt, say hello. Who else is going to be there?

I'm going to try and unload some extra grille badges, but I'll probably spend more than I make.

Sadly I will not make it, I had planned on being there but then this pesky thing call racing got in the way.I will be at Thunderhill with the PRC and HSR West.
Have a great time! Chuck: we should schedule a time to do a wear and tear inspection on my bearings. They will now have had about 15 hours of track time, so it should be a good indicator of how the wear in a track environment. Jim

Thanks for the heads up! I'll be there shopping for oil cooler related items. Fantastic. Never been there yet, EASY in Emeryville is just too convienient (about 500 yards from me right now).
I'm going to have to test the 'forgivness is easier than permission' theory.

I'll be there. Don't own a Porsche yet. Won't know what all the parts are or where they go in the car. But I'll be there to learn from you veteran Pelicans.

I was there! Had a great time and tied a 1st in Comp/SI. Next concours I'll go Street - more competition. Planning on the July PCA DE at Thunderhill; should be a blast.
Chuck - saw you at your booth but did not get a chance to talk to you - would have liked an update on your R Gruppe project car! Really nice looking oil coolers! Definitely too hot for the PP shirts today; I roasted out there in Hayward! |

It was indeed hot out there! Ran into a few Pelicanheads, including widebody911, Tom Turtle, makaio, Chuck Moreland, (beautiful product, BTW), and many more who's names escape me at the moment.
I was fortunate that I sold more than I spent, which hasn't happened to me at a swap meet EVER! Guess I just didn't fall for the "must have, but don't really need" items like I normally do. Jim |

Yes - my car was near the above car and I talked to its owner - he's asking $95,000. There was another 73RS (a red one) that was a restored beauty but I don't think it was quite as "original". Both are great looking cars regardless! Someone called them "California real estate on wheels"
