Clutch making noise (rust?)?
https://streamable.com/cfs1wd
Above is video of issue. 1978 911SC sat for 20 years About to drop engine for head studs, will get a look at the clutch anyways since I’ll split the trans. I /think/ my clutch is rusted to the flywheel. Upon acceleration, clutch in, in 1st gear, the wheels spin and the car makes this sort of high pitched ticking clicking sound. I’m unsure what it is. Car cannot be put into gear (wheels on ground) but can be put in gear like butter on jacks. If anyone has an idea what it is, or if my theory is correct, please let me know!! Thanks all |
