Cut out switch
Any suggestions of where I can splice in a simple on off kill switch?
Low amperage, behind the dash would be ideal. 85' 911 |

Run the hot wire for the fuel pump to a standard toggle switch behind the top left corner of the passenger floor board then back to the fuel pump. Toggle switch is out of site and can be operated by reaching down just to the right of the accelerator pedal. There are lots of other locations under the dash as well to frustrate a would be thief.

Toggle switch to break the brown ground wire at the DME relay under the driver seat. Mount wherever is convenient.

Get off my lawn!

I put one in the trunk. It cuts power to the fuel pump. If I want to use that switch, I have to open the trunk, flip the switch hidden in the trunk, then lock the trunk with the key on the pull handle of my 85 Carrera.
So a thief would have to get into the locked trunk, and find the switch. Of course a pro will just tow the car and steal it anyway.
