heating steering box
For the 74 - 83 cars (911) there is this black box in between the seats that regulates
the temperature in the car. There is a small part that often breaks under the knob that indicates the numbers and thus the the temperature that you require. I think the photos will make it clear. Does anyone know if this part is available or if there is an alternative for it. It is of course the small part in the third picture Thanks ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I would guess that Porsche only sells the entire box, if they have it at all. That is a perfect candidate for a 3D printer project. It likely will take a few tries to get it perfect, but it is a small piece and will not cost much in materials to print one to get the perfect part. Then just make a few for sale as needed.
