Steel Widebody Fenders for an Early 911?
Where would one source steel 9 & 11 fender flares that fit an Early 911?
Would also need the rear fender extensions in steel. 930 flares are the wrong contour, they need to look more like RSR flares. I had 930 flares on a '73 years ago and they looked like... 930 flares. Preliminary search is turning up a lot of very old information, all fiberglass. Any help is appreciated!

Yep. They have steel turbo (early and late) flares and RSR flares. But the price on the RSR flares! Yikes! https://www.restoration-design.eu/28-rsr-fender-flares-set-of-4.html

Normally you have to buy the fenders, the flares, and fabricate a small patch panel to fill in the gap, and assemble them yourself. Stuttgart Classica sells the small patch panel, and recently started selling complete fenders. Not sure of the quality but nice to have a steel option.
Restoration design and others sell a few different flares you can use. |
