Broken Tachometer in '70S

For the second time, the tachometer in my '70S quit working. Anyone have a clue what could be going wrong? After the first time, I replaced it with a good used one and it worked for about 6 months.

Thanks,

JB

JB,

Have you monitored your system Voltage while driving, lately?
