SSI Help

While in winter hibernation i was cleaning underneith and noted a missing bolt from the small ear tab on one of the SSI's that screws to the bottom of the engine case

Anyone tell me what size bolt that should be? I tried all my spare porsche bolts but to no luck

Thanks

Bob

The two small bolts closest to centerline are 6mm.

I agree it’s a 6mm thread

My car has not had those screws for at least 10 years.

On one side the tab is missing…cracked off.

The other side were the screw fell out, the tab hasn’t broken.

My block only has a screw hole for one header.

It's only just in this very moment that I ever considered that that might the source of a vibration I hear sometimes. Great job, me.

Not sure what to do about that aside from stick down some high-temp rubber that I have left over.

Are you sure there is only one hole, the drivers side is a little more inward and imbedded than the psgr side, thus the SSIs have different tabs on each side

Maybe there is one, but it's not where the SSI's hole is so it's not doing me any good either way.
