SC Seat Bottom - Bringing back the raised sections between the stitching
I am looking to buy an SC, however, like most the bottom seat foam (stitched on to the leather) has flattened over time . The seat back and rear portion of the bottom is still full looking.
Does anyone know if this lining, or whatever it is, can be changed out to bring back to raised look of the leather between the stitching? Thanks. |

Most likely the foam is used up and nothing left so that it not will stand out like on the back. Maybe a local upholsterer can remove the cover and replace the foam if the leather is still in good condition.

You can still buy the seat bottom cushion (foam) either Porsche or OEM. If the seat cover is in good shape an upholsterer can simply replace the seat bottom cushion for you.

You can also look at GAHH.com for Porsche seat foam replacement, under their seat pad heading as another source.
