European Headers with stock oil lines?
Hi all,
Ordered european style headers for my 3.0 and was about to order the back dated oil lines, but got curious. I didn't see anyting appear here on my search but found a post on Rennlist where a member was able to use the stock oil line. Unfortunately, that post was way back in 2009 and he did it on a 3.2. Has anyone had experience this have you found any downsides with staying with the stock oil lines? Here's a photo of what that Rennlist member did: ![]() |

Will your headers have heat exchangers? Doesn't look like it'll work with them.

If you go to "European" headers, or SSIs, or any other headers which don't send the right bank heat under the bell housing to join the left bank headers (i.e., stock), buy the '73 oil crossover pipe which goes around and under the bell housing and be done with it.
