European Engine building class
Hi, I'm actively following the posts regarding the US engine building class Tony is giving...and in some of these posts, I read that fellow Europeans fly over to attend those classes. I can fully understand because...well...only superlatives are used when describing how interesting it is.
So I started wondering...instead of having 8 Europeans flying over to the US that individually pay for flight/hotel/class, wouldn't it be cheaper if we ask Tony to fly over (with his wife, of course) and having him here for a week (2 x 2day of 8people = 16 candidates), where those 16 candidates then cover his costs ? Some of you interested Europeans would need to travel (a bit) to class (location unknown for the moment) but that would be minimal compared to the thousands of dollars it would cost us individually now to make it to Michigan ? Any interest in this concept ? Of course we would need to look out for a garage/workshop and an engine, but that must be somewhere out there, no ? Am I dreaming or does this seem feasible to others (like I think it is) ? |

I'd be interested. There's a fair number of Pelicans in Belgium as well.

I've taken the course and I have to say, there's a lot of stuff involved in the class - multiple engines, tools, etc.
I can't see him dragging all that stuff to Europe.
