Need a diameter spec
 

Yes, I did search.... 356 pages of sorting through to find the "maybe it's there" answer...

Does anyone happen to know what the inside diameter of the receiver of a shift knob should be to fit to an original 915 shift lever using an oem (99953200300 or 01) crush sleeve? I measured my shift lever at 15.04 mm (0.593") dia., but I haven't found the "thickness" of the sleeve itself, and dont have one on hand to measure.

if you squeeze it it has 15,70mm.part number

To confirm, when the sleeve gap is closed you measure 15.7mm?

So I should be looking at a knob bore of <16.0mm, mas o menos?
