Alternator Wire Rubber Boot
Does anyone know the part number for the rubber boot for the 2 large red wires on alternator for a 1970 911? I found the smaller boots, but need one that can supports 2 large gauge wires. Two large gauge wires will not fit in the the boots that support a single 16-18 gauge wire. My old one is rotted and there is no P/N on it. I searched our host and the forum, but no luck on a part number or where to buy.
Thanks! Found a picture online to show what I need (circled in red). ![]() |

Those are actually common rubber boots. Show the parts counter guy that photo and they likely have them in stock. Lots of vehicles use the same thing. Maybe take the remains of the old boot with you for a size comparison to the new one. You can even try Ace hardware, or the big box stores. It is a common rubber boot.
