Can you post a pic of the rear on an '80 SC engine?
A pic of the backside behind the air box with AAV, AAR, Decel. valve, Frequency valve, and all the rest visible, preferably from an '80 SC, would be appreciated. :)

Here is the back of a '78 CIS. If you would like a larger image I can email one to you.
I hope this helps. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...Spictur345.jpg |
Here is a link to a few. But it's a 78SC (not mine).

Is it always this clean? |
Yes, especially since it went through a rebuild in 1999.

Thanks Pat Henry: Good pic. I needed to see the line from AAV to the deceleration valve.

I have a 80 sc and need some clarification on the distributor vac/ret vac.lines and which port the red [adv] goes and blue [ret] goes, if you have some close ups or can tell me where your hoses route to that would be great. PS. my car doesn't have cruise control and i think theres a difference when it comes to this regarding where the factory set up the hoses. thanks

Platiporsch: If you look closely at the above pic, you'll see the red line behind the throttle body. The blue is slightly to the left of it. I took my cruise control out.

I don't see the blue one , i do see the throttle switch to the left, tell me where does the vac. from youre warmup regulator connect? mine goes to one port on the other side [rear of car] between the air box and the throttle body, also which of the two dist. vac lines goes above the throttle plate and which goes below.thanks

try this link for a closer pic of the red dist vac line. I posted a picture at the end of the post showing the red dist vac line.
