M&K 1in/2out or Fabspeed Centering Issue

Have finally installed a Fabspeed bypass and a M&K MKM74 on my ‘84 3.2 (customized for a backdate). I guess warping over the years (removed original cat &muffler) has impacted the position or as some others have commented “an issue with fitment on M&K mufflers”

Regardless, I’ve refitted the 2 multiple times and can’t keep the 2 out centered under the license plate. It’s about 1/2” short (or left from center). It’s too close to one of the rear bumper guards, so I removed them.

Doesn’t seem to be enough on muffler inlet to cut and add extension, which seems to be only choice other than taking it to a muffler shop and having them them bend the bypass. Any thoughts?
