Pop Off Valve Install and plastic bits
So I follow the instructions, drill the hole, now I have little bits of plastic in the intake. So what happens with the ones I cant get out, is there any problem here or am I just worrying a bit too much?? In Waynes book he makes it sound like they wont hurt anything, but being a bit on the anal side, I wonder.
Thanks for your tolerance of another stupid question ![]() |

I wondered the same thing.. I just did this last night and I tried to get as much as possible but I'm sure there's something left in there.
Hopefully all will be ok. Chuck

No worries . . plastic is soft stuff (compared to engine components) and will decompose quickly in the combustion chamber.
I'm guessing the airbox is made of ABS/PA. You can think of it as thick gas. ![]() Anyway, it won't last long if it does get sucked in.
