74 2.7 CIS No Spark with MSD 6A (FIXED)

I apologize for the long paragraph.

I purchased a 74 911 a couple weeks ago and I am in the process of getting it running. It hasn't run in at least 10 years and some of the wiring for the MSD 6A install is pretty butchered. I initially was able to test the spark from the MSD 6A through the "False trigger" method mentioned in the install instructions I found online and it DID spark. I have replaced the spark plugs and wires, distributor cap, rotor and points and tested spark again and it applied spark to the plugs. I was able to start and get the car to run for a couple seconds after changing the injectors. The car sputtered and died because I found that the plunger in the fuel distributor was stuck in the up position. I cleaned the fuel distributor and now that is working correctly and after changing the fuel pump have a system pressure of 5.2 Bar. Now that I checked that the fuel side of things is mostly running correctly I decided to check spark again and found that it has stopped functioning. I did change the coil to a MSD Blaster High Vibration coil since the initial successful test fire but the False Trigger test does not produce a spark with either coil now. Previous owner had the MSD large red wire hooked into the top circuit on the 3 fuse panel and I am not sure what he cut and wired the small red wire to. He also had a wire with alligator clips that were connected to the screw on the top circuit of the 3 fuse panel and the red wires that the small red wire is connected to. Since then I moved the large red wire from the MSD to the large black battery cable on the starter solenoid in an attempt to have constant 12v like the instructions called for. I can't tell if the small red wire is getting switched 12v though.

TLDR: Car had spark with PO wire job(One successful test fire), after changing coil there is no spark with MSD or Original coil and wiring setup, swapped large red MSD cable to starter solenoid power and still no spark.

I appreciate any help that you have to offer and I will try to take pictures of the wiring tomorrow to potentially help explain my rambling.

Well quick update.

After doing some more troubleshooting today. The switched 12v small red wire wasn't getting power. Searching around with a multimeter for switched 12v power I decided to try testing the wire it was originally plugged into and there was power! So it seems like the switched 12v connection was just dirty and not giving good contact.

Tried the false trigger test again and there was spark. So I tried starting the car and it fired right to life!

Now I have to fix a cracked exhaust pipe but it should be drivable after that.
