Help putting together a 902/1 Clutch assembly

Hi Everyone. Long time reader first time poster.

I have recently rebuilt a 902/1 gearbox from a 66' model car for use in my porsche. It didnt come with a clutch release arm/fork or any of the clutch components in the bellhousing.

I looked up what it should have and have purchased the ball-pivot direct from porsche, a sachs clutch release bearing, the spacer pads between the bearing and the fork/arm and a second hand arm. The Arm has the part number 90111671200 stamped on it.

When i attempt to assemble it, the ball-pivot appears to be too close to the input shaft to work with the release lever. Looking online there appears to be two types of lever that use the ball-style pivot one with the pivot dimple inboard and one with it further outboard. Mine appears at least to have the dimple furthest toward the release bearing so I'm totally lost as to what it could be!?

Everything appears to match up with the part numbers they should be (from exploded diagrams). One thing i did notice is some bellhousings have a more pronounced area where the ball-pivot resides - this is simply a threaded hole in the back of the bellhousing.

Any ideas folks? Pictures follow

If you don't get an answer, try directly contacting Matt Manson at GT Transmission. He can probably tell you exactly what parts you need from memory.

It looks like you are showing two different arms?

The arm on the bottom
is what you need. 711 instead of 712.
