Quick wiring question
I am wiring my 68 911 for a carbed 73 motor. Is it safe to say the thick black line coming into the engine compartment from the wiring harness is a ground? Does anyone know where the ground originaly went? I am assuming it grounds somewhere on the wall next to the panel? The harness coming into the compartment seems to be in original condition. .
Thanks, Alan --------------------------------------------------- 206aa 1968 911 Targa 2.4t |

Heck, I’m only 5 not 71!

If it is a thick cable with black insulation and coming out of the tunnel to the rear of the car Then it is the wire from the + battery terminal to the starter and would not be a ground.

Ahh, that makes sense. It must be the lead to the wiring panel. Thanks Pat.
