2002 911 Oil Drain Plug
Oil changes on my 911 for over 10 years myself. This time I stripped the hex oil plug, Any recommendations how I can break loose the oil plug? Thanks,

Use an Easyout. Grind off the end so it fits snugly into the hole, pound it in, go to town. Replace it of course.

you referring to screw extractor and left hand drill bit? 2nd photo is what i picked up Lisle T-55 tork bit that i would need to slightly drill out the hex oil plug for this to fit tight.

Why does your oil plug have such as small Allen socket? Oh yeah, it's a 2002...
When you replace it, use something with a bigger Allen or hex head.

Yup, LN magnetic plug. Soft, soft, soft. They recommend 19 ft/lbs, when Porsche requires 37 ft/lbs to properly crush the seal washer. Garbage. The factory Alu wears out over time also, but we put the LN's in the circular file!
