1986 911 Drivers Side Power Seat

All power functions stopped working. Under seat all connections look fine. Fuses look good. Is there a relay I have overlooked as I do not believe both switches and motors would die at once. Appreciate any input.

No relay is driving these motors. Have you checked if you get power at the seat? Also check ground connection.
Fuse is a 25A fuse that also protects AC.
Check if AC is working. If not, this 25A fuse is toast or has bad contacts.

On mine, I had to remove the seat, and get it out of the car to get to the problem.

Somehow, that wire was broken. It was all zip tied to the springs, so I have no idea how some some gremlin broke into my locked garage, and locked car, and broke those wires. It was not chewed, and I don't have mice. It was like it was yanked apart.

I don't even remember a water bottle rolling around under the seat.

So carefully check the wires themselves.

I have an 83SC exactly same issue. Pax side works perfectly, drivers side used to work now all functions dead. Can I assume if right side works then fuses/relays are good? If so it must be a broken wire. Tried to find wiring diagram for power seats but was not able to locate.

Agree with this. Seat(s) started acting erratic so in a haste started pulling the seats, had a few new(used) motors on order and was prepared to remove leather, padding etc...thinking things were just old and worn. One seat motor was shot (drivers seat) but the other (passenger) was just that...a broken/split wire under the seat.

I am the second owner so who knows that happened under the seat before I owned.
