Who’s driving LA to Rennsport on Wednesday? What route? I’m likely heading up 101.

Not going to the Rennsport Reunion, but are you aware that Coast Highway is closed between Lucia and Limekiln? No Caltrans timeframe for re-opening of the road damaged from a winter landslide.

Yes. That's why I plan on the Hwy 101, it turns inland around Pismo Beach.

Leaving Thursday morning around 4 am from SF Valley.

Even when HWY 1 is open, its a slow drive up. I did it in 2018 and swore i wouldn't take that route again. It's closed, so its a mute point.

if the 33 north of ojai was open, i'd say take that to the 198 west. amazing driving, and if you do it right you don't have to drive any major highways to get to laguna seca.

i hate the 101...

Heading up on Wednesday. Not sure of route, yet. There are maybe 3 groups with caravan plans for that date.
