Any luck buying used electrical parts like relays?
Worth the gamble for almost half price? Any experiences?

I prefer the old relays to the new ones. If they worked for the last 50 years …

I've had good luck purchasing some used electrical parts from a local Porsche shop (Rothsport). No warranty of course, but the parts work.

Some relays like the heater relay for my 85 Carrera are not available new. They pretty much have to be used parts.
As for a DME relay, buy it new. They do have a certain lifetime before failure.
