Targa top hole patch?
Hey all. I just took delivery of my 1981 Targa 911. The top has a few small (nail head size) holes in it. I will most likely get the top refurbished in the near future but for now I am looking for ideas on patching those holes so the car can be washed.
Would a car seat repair kit do the job here? |

I used a bike inner tube patch kit for my Golf I Cabrio top. Elastic patches were a help.

Go to a car upholstery shop and find out what they use to patch a hold.
